With every choice you make you’ll pay the consequence. One simple mistake could make this path come to an end. Everything I ever loved slowly slips away. I’m trying not to lose my grip but the weight is overwhelming. Confusion has me by my throat clenching tighter everyday. What’s left to sacrifice for me to be free? Everyday i think about this choice I’ve made, and if it’s right for me. I might never know because it’s tough to say. But these opportunities may only come up once within this lifetime. This is a part of me, my story’s ending, and it reigns over all. You feel deprived when you sit on the sidelines or watch the ones you love slip away as the days go by. When all you wanted was a place to call your own. But how can you settle when your looking for it all alone. You take a step and think to yourself “Why am I falling in the tracks behind everyone else?” You look in the mirror, all satisfaction is gone, and all you want is to feel content but what went wrong? Guilt’s sinking in. When you leave there’s always something you’ll be miss- ing. I can’t pretend that everything works out the way you want it. But I’ll make believe that there’s a light ahead of this darkness. Every choice has a consequence. I’ve heard it over and over again but nothing is changing. I have nothing left to sacrifice so could you tell me what went wrong?
